DHAKA, Sept 13, 2019 (BSS)- Saif Sporting Club were forced to play a 1-1
goal draw by NoFeL Sporting Club in Group D opening match of the U-18
Football tournament that has begun today (Friday) at Bangabandhu National
Stadium.
In the day’s match, Saniyat put Saif SC ahead converting a spot kick in
the 31st minute while after the breather Mejbah equalized the for NoFeL in
the 49th minute of the match.
A total of 12 clubs, split into four groups, will compete in the meet,
organized by BFF.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals,
which will be followed by semifinals on September 25 and 26 and the final
slated for September 29.
Grouping:
Group A – Brothers Union Club, Chittagong Abahani Limited and
Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra.
Group B – Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, Arambagh Krira Sanngha and
Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society.
Group C – Abahani Limited, Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited and
Bashundhara Kings.
Group D – Saif Sporting Club, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra and NoFel
Sporting Club.
