Committee to investigate Ruqayyah Hall irregularity
DHAKA, Sept 05, 2019 (BSS) – The Dhaka University (DU) authority today formed a probe committee to investigate the allegation over irregularities and corruption in a recently advertised staff recruitment at university’s Ruqayyah Hall.
Supernumerary Professor of DU Bengali Department and former provost of Bangladesh-Kuwait Maitree Hall Professor Dr Begum Akhter Kamal was made convener of the three-member committee, said a DU press release today.
Assistant Proctor Dr Litan Kumar Saha was made member-secretary of the committee while Ruqayyah Hall house tutor Mrs. Monira Begum was made member of the committee.
The committee was requested to submit probe report with recommendations within seven working days. The recruitment process will be suspended till the submission of the probe report.
