3 held with 1,000 Yaba tablets in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Sept 3, 2019 (BSS) – Detective Branch (DB) of police
arrested three alleged drug peddlers with 1,000 pieces of Yaba tablets from
Namosankerbati Dakhin Charagram under Chapainawabganj municipality yesterday
evening.
The arrested persons were identified as Md. Iqbal Hossain, 40, son of late
Bablu of Bhangra village under Belepukur Thana, Rana Hamid, 42, son of late
Abdul Hamid of Kajla and Moklesur Rahman Mamun, 35, son of Md. Montaj Ali of
Katakhali Mirkamari, all under Rajshahi district.
DB Inspector Mahbubur Rahman said, acting on secret information, a team of
DB raided the aforesaid area around 6:05 pm and arrested them with the Yaba
tablets.
Later, the arrested persons were sent to jail with a case today, he added.
