DHAKA, Sept 01, 2019 (BSS) – The Social Science faculty of Dhaka University
(DU) today introduced a day care centre to look after the children of the
faculty members.
DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Dr Nasreen Ahmad inaugurated the centre
at the 6th floor of DU Social Science Faculty building.
The day care centre aims at providing comfortable, safe and secure
environment to the children of the teachers. The timing of the centre is from
9:30am to 5:00pm for five days a week (Sunday to Thursday). Three experienced
employees were assigned to take care of the kids.
Dean of Social Science faculty Dr. Sadeka Halim said, “We have 300 teachers
in this faculty and a day care centre was very much needed.”
