Study fair for US University on Sept 7

DHAKA, August 29, 2019 – US Embassy’s Education USA Student Advising Center will host the South Asia Fall Tour 2019 University Fair at Radisson Blu hotel on September 7.

Representatives from 26 US Universities including Drew University, George Mason University, Hofstra University, NYU Tandon School of Engineering, University of Houston-Victoria and University of South Florida will attend the fair.

The 2019 Fall Tour will begin in Dhaka before continuing to Nepal and other South Asian countries throughout September, according to a statement issued by the US Embassy today.

The South Asia Fall Tour 2019 will present a unique opportunity for students to interact face-to-face with representatives from 14 U.S. universities as well as a consortium representing 12 other universities.

The 26 U.S. universities represented at the fair are accredited institutions recognized by Education USA, part of the U.S. Department of State.

During the fair, which is free and open to all from across Bangladesh interested in studying in the United States, students will have the chance to discuss U.S. higher education opportunities, areas of studies and programs, and financial aid opportunities – all in one place.

The fair will also include an informational session about the U.S. student visa process, a discussion on higher education studies in the United States, and a bilingual panel event with Bangladeshi alumni of U.S. universities sharing their U.S. experiences.

The South Asia Fall Tour 2019 aims to facilitate international student access to U.S. higher education institutions by bringing together U.S. universities committed to internationalization with qualified, motivated, and well-prepared students from the local community.
