DHAKA, August 25, 2019 (BSS) – Rejuvenated Bangladesh youths came up with sterling performance to script a massive 7-1 win over Sri Lanka in their second match of the SAFF U-15 Championship at the Kalyani Stadium in West Bengal on Sunday.

Striker Al Amin Rahman was the wrecker-in-chief, having scored five goals to crush Sri Lanka in emphatic manner.

Bangladesh Under-15 team now tops the five-team table with six points from two matches. They have earlier crushed Bhutan by 5-2 in their opening game in the tournament.

Al Amin opened his account after the half-hour mark and ensured a 3-0 lead for the defending champions before the break with two goals to his name. The other goal came from skipper Rakibul Islam who found the net with a wonderful solo goal.

Five of the South Asian countries are taking part in the regional championship.
