BSS journo injured in stone-throwing at running train
DHAKA, Aug 16, 2019 (BSS) – A journalist of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) was injured as miscreants threw stone at a running train in Talutia area under Gazipur district this evening.
BSS senior reporter Md Rafiqul Islam received injuries in his right hand in the incident as he was traveling by Akhaura bound Titas commuter train that left Kamalapur Station around 6.45 pm.
“I was going to Bhairab Bazar by Titas commuter train. Suddenly a stone hit the window of the train and I received injuries in my hand,” Rafiqul told BSS over mobile phone.
Tongi Railway Police sub-inspector (SI) Md Rafik confirmed the incident.
