DHAKA, Aug 13, 2019 (BSS) – Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering today
called Bangladesh Premier Sheikh Hasina and extended Eid greetings to her and
the people of Bangladesh.
“Lotay Tshering phoned Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 11:45 am today and
extended heartfelt greetings to her and the people of Bangladesh on the
occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha,” PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told
BSS.
On behalf of the people and on her own behalf, Prime Minister Sheikh
Hasina also extended her heartfelt greetings to the Bhutanese King and the
premier and people, the press secretary said.
During the telephonic conversation that lasted for about 10 minutes, both
the prime ministers wished continued peace, progress and prosperity of the
people of Bangladesh and Bhutan.
