DHAKA, Aug 7, 2019 (BSS) – The government has requested all to slaughter
their sacrificial animals at the designated places on the occasion of Eid-ul-
Azha to keep environment clean.
People are requested to sacrifice their animals at the places fixed by the
government instead of random places during Eid days to destroy mosquito
breeding grounds, an official release said here today.
The government has already taken effective measures, including-ensuring
adequate power connection and drainage system along with safeguarding people
from inclement weather, to keep these slaughtering spots secured for the
peaceful celebration of the upcoming Eid, said the release.
Other Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Sudan
also celebrate the Eid-ul-Azha through sacrificing animals at government-
fixed places as it prevents environmental pollution.
