Separate dengue ward if dengue patients rise: DMCH Director

DHAKA, July 31, 2019 (BSS) – Director of Dhaka Medical College (DMCH) Brigadier General AKM Nasir Uddin today said that separate dengue ward will be opened if the number of patients increases.

“A ward for the dengue patients will be opened in ‘Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute’ if the number increases”, he said in a press briefing regarding the dengue situation management at DMCH conference room.

He said that the Health Ministry has cancelled all holidays of doctors and nurses to serve the dengue patients and asked them not to leave their respective offices until further notice. ? He said most dengue patients DMCH were children, the director said that the hospital is serving the patients 24 hours and the hospital has adequate medicine.
