Imran urges Jubo League to work for Sheikh Hasina’s vision
SYLHET, July 29, 2019 (BSS) – Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas
Employment Minister Imran Ahmed today said that Jubo League’s cooperation is
crucial in implementing Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s vision for Bangladesh.
“Jubo League’s strong leadership is important to fulfill Bangabandhu’s dream
of Sonar Bangla and to establish Sheikh Hasina’s Digital Bangladesh,” Imran
said while addressing as chief guest of district Jubo League’s third annual
conference in Sylhet’s Registry ground.
Imran mentioned Jubo League as a disciplined organization and said that it
values the ideology of Bangabandhu. He said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina
is working relentlessly to fulfill Bangabandhu’s unfinished dream, and urged
Jubo League members to cooperate with her.
Jubo League Chairman Omar Faruk Chowdhury inaugurated the conference at 11 pm.
The inaugural speech was given by General Secretary Md Harun Ur Rashid. Former
education minister Nurul Islam Nahid and organizing secretary of Bangladesh
Awami League Ahmad Hossain was present, among others, at the meeting.
