Rangamati, Rangpur post win in JFA U-14 Nat’l Women’s Football
DHAKA, July 15, 2019 (BSS) – Rangamati and Rangpur districts won their
respective group B final round matches of the JFA U-14 National Women’s
Football Championship on Monday at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad
Mostafa Kamal Stadium in city’s Kamalapur area.
In the day’s first match, Rangamati district registered a convincing 5-1
goal victory over Manikganj district.
In the match, Sweety Chakma and Shilpi Chakma scored a brace each in the
10th, 24th, 11th and 46th minutes respectively while Mi Mang Ching Marma
added the other single goal for Rangamati in the 58th minute.
Kabori scored the lone goal for Manikganj district in the 32nd minute of
the match.
In another match, Rangpur district blanked Mymensingh district by 3-0 goals
with Shamima Akter, Misrat Jahan and Liza Begum scoring one goal apiece for
Rangpur in the 5th, 37th and 58th minutes respectively.
