DHAKA, May 1, 2018 (BSS) – Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan today called upon the workers not to drive any vehicle by using fake license.
He came up with the call at a workers’ rally organized by Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation marking the May Day on the premises of Biman office at Motijheel here.
The minister called for raising awareness among the transport owners, workers and passengers as well to avert road accident.
Transport owners should remain alert so that inefficient drivers or workers could not work in vehicles, he added.
Shajahan urged the drivers to drive the vehicles carefully. “You should not talk over mobile phone while driving,” he said.
The minister said road transport laws will be made time-befitting.
Later, a procession was brought out from the venue which ended at Muktangan after parading different city streets.
