BGMEA hails proposed budget
DHAKA, June 13, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) today hailed the proposed budget for fiscal 2019-2020 describing it as time-befitting and business-friendly.
The authority concerned of BGMEA appreciated the inclusion of the allocation of Taka 100 crore for the establishment of the youths, additional Taka 50 crore for research and innovation and Taka 74,365 crore for social safety net in the budget, a press release said here.
It also praised the allocation of education, health, communication infrastructure as well as Power and energy sector which made this budget as pragmatic and development-oriented, it added.
