SANGSAD BHABAN, June 11, 2019 (BSS) – The third budget session of the 11th Jatiya Sangsad has been decided to continue till July 11.
The decision was taken at a third meeting of the business advisory committee of the Jatiya Sangsad at the House here today.
Committee Chairman and Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury chaired the meeting.
Committee Member, leader of the House and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina participated in the meeting.
Besides, committee members Rawshan Ershad , Amir Hossen Amu, Tofail Ahmed, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, Obaidul Quader, Rashed khan Menon, Hasanul Haq Inu, M Fazley Rabbi Mia, Anisul Haq, Anisul Islam Mahmud and Nur-E Alam Chowdhury participated the meeting.
The national budget of 2019-20 fiscal will be presented on June 13, as per the decision of the meeting. The discussion on supplementary budget will begin on June 16 after suspension for two days on June 14 and 15.
The supplementary budget will be passed on June 17.
The general discussion on the national budget will begin on June 18. The budget will be passed on June 30.
Then, the Jatiya Sangsad session will be suspended from July 1 to July 6. The session will continue from July 7 to 11. The session will begin at 3pm everyday.
A total of 1,934 questions including 1,851 general questions and 83 questions for the Prime Minister so far have been received for the session.
