One killed, two injured in Nilphamari road mishap
NILPHAMARI, June 9, 2019 (BSS) – A motorcyclist was killed and two others were injured in a road accident near Uttar-para Police outpost on Jaldhaka-Rangpur highway under Ranchandi union of Kishoreganj upazila of the district this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Ratan Kumar Roy, 25, son of Shangkar Chadra Roy of Chengmari village under Jaldhaka upazila.
His father and his younger brother, the passengers of the bike, were seriously injured.
Police said the accident happened when his motorbike was hit by a speedy ambulance from opposite direction leaving all three injured.
Local people rushed them to Rangpur Medical College Hospital while Ratan succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
