Eighteen players share lead in rating chess
DHAKA, May 30, 2019 (BSS) – Eighteen players are jointly leading the points table with maximum two points after the completion of the second round games of Amateur International Rating Chess Tournament being held at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room.
They are CM Subrota Biswas, CM Sohel Chowdhury, M Sariatullah, Jabed Al Azad, Mohammed Enayet Hossain, M Sirajul Islam, M Asadujjaman, Jewel Khan, Din Mohammad, Sk. Rashedul Hasan, Mohammad Yousuf, Yasin Arafat, Feroz Ahmed, Sabyasachi, Faisal Hasan, M Ariful Amin, and Pronob Singha.
In the day’s second round games were held today (Thursday), CM Subrota beat Sarwar, CM Sohel beat WCM Noshin, Sariat beat Bappi Sarkar, Jabed beat A B Bappi, Enayet beat Nasim, Siraj beat Masum, Asad beat Mihir, Jewel beat Shamsul, Rashed beat Kashem, Yousuf beat Nesar, Ripon beat Moin, Yasin beat Rasul, Feroz beat Salman, Sabyasachi beat Mridul, Faisal beat Hafiz, Arif beat Sanjoy and Pronob got walk-over against Anis.
The third round games starts tomorrow (Friday) at 10 am at same venue.
