DHAKA, May 30, 2019 (BSS) – China has shown its keenness to transfer technology, including digitization and artificial intelligence, in industrial sector so that Bangladesh can take opportunities of the fourth industrial revelation.
The keenness was expressed today while Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Zhang Suo paid a call on Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun at his office in the city, said a press release.
Humayun said Industries Ministry is finalizing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as per the eagerness of China for accelerating trade and investment between the two friendly nations.
“After finalizing the MoU, we will send it to the Chinese authority through the Foreign Affairs Ministry. Later, the MoU will be signed after negotiations,” he added.
Zhang Suo sought Bangladesh’s cooperation to implement the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
