JS body suggests safe environment to educational institutions
DHAKA, May 21, 2019 (BSS) – The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the
Education Ministry today recommended taking necessary measures to ensure
risk-free and safe environment in the educational institutions.
The recommendation came at the committee’s 3rd meeting held at the Jatiya
Sangsad (JS) Bhaban with its senior member Fazle Hossain Badsha in the chair,
an official release said.
In the meeting, the parliamentary watchdog also recommended to strengthen
the ‘Scouting Activities’ to boost the awareness among the students of every
educational institution to avert road accidents.
They recommended honest, qualified as well as dynamic persons in the
selection of the managing committee or governing body president in the
educational institution for the betterment of the students.
Committee members Minister Dr Dipu Moni, Deputy Minister Mohibul Hasan
Chowdhury, M Abdul Kuddus, AKM Shajahan Kamal, MA Matin, Golam Kibria Tipu
and other officials concerned were present.
