Speaker condoles death of Hayat Saif
DHAKA, May 14, 2019 (BSS)- Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Ekushey Padak winning poet Hayat Saif.
In a condolence message, she prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
In separate condolence message, deputy speaker Md. Fazle Rabbi Miah and chief whip Noor-e-Alam-Chowdhury condoled the death of poet Hayat Saif.
They also prayed for peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Besides, State minister for cultural affairs K. M. Khalid mourned the death of eminent poet and translator Hayat Saif.
Saif died at the United Hospital in the city in the early hours of Monday at the age of 76.
