FAKE-NOTE-ARREST
Fake currency worth Tk 2.32 lakh seized
DHAKA, May 14, 2019 (BSS) – Police arrested four persons in possession of
fake currency worth Tk 2.32 lakh in city’s Shahbagh area today.
The arrestees are Md Habibur Rahman alias Habib Mollah (48), Md Mintu
Bepary (32), Md. Rubel Bepary (32) and Md Dulal Miah (60).
A team of Detective Branch (South) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP)
conducted a raid in Dhaka Medical College area and arrested them with the
counterfeited money, Deputy Commissioner (Media) Md. Masudur Rahman confirmed
the matter to BSS.
