10 crore shrimp fries recovered in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, May 10, 2019 (BSS) – Coast Guard East Zone in a special drive seized 10 crore shrimp fries from city’s Lalkhan bazar fly over last night.
The coast guard personnel also seized four mini trucks loaded with 124 drams containing the fries from the said area.
Sensing presence of the coast guard members, the smugglers fled the scene.
Later, the fries were released into the Karnaphuli river, coast guard sources said.
