BARISHAL, May 10, 2019 (BSS) – A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed today between Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) and the Daily Shahanama, published from Barishal, on the reporting of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s ten special initiatives.
Managing Director and Chief Editor of BSS Abul Kalam Azad and the Daily Daily Shahanama Editor Kazi Abul Kalam Azad signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides. BSS special correspondent and Focal Point Officer of PM’s ten special initiatives Mahfuza Jasmine was present on behalf of BSS Managing Director and Chief Editor Abul Kalam Azad.
Besides, a focus group discussion was held aimed at ensuring proper implementation of the Prime Minister’s ten special initiatives.
Chaired by Barishal Metropolitan Press Club President and the Daily Shahanama Editor and Publisher Kazi Abul Kalam Azad, the function was also addressed by Divisional Commissioner Ram Chandra Das as the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner of Barishal SM Ajiar Rahman and President of the editorial board of the Daily Shahanama Professor Shah Shajeda.
Daily Shahanama journalists Mamunur Rashid, Moklesur Rahman Moni and BSS district correspondent Shubrata Dutta and others were present at the function, among others.
