HABIGANJ, March 29, 2018 (BSS) – At least three persons were killed and two others injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Model Bazar area under Nabiganj upazila of the district this morning.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sherpur Highway Police Bimal Chandra Bhoumik said, the accident took place in the area around 9am when a Habiganj-bound passenger bus from Sylhet fell into a roadside land as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving three persons killed on the spot and two others injured.
The injured were taken to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
