DHAKA, March 27, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Barisal, Sylhet and Chittagong divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Khulna divisions with hails at isolated places in 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, a BMD press release said today.
Seasonal low lies over South Bay, it said, adding that trough of low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining areas.
The maximum temperature was recorded 34.5 degrees Celsius yesterday in Rajshahi and today’s minimum temperature 18 degrees Celsius at Tarash in Rajshahi division.
The sunsets at 6:12 pm today and rises at 5.55 am tomorrow in the capital city.
