Woman commits suicide after killing 2 children in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, April 30, 2019 (BSS)- A woman allegedly committed suicide by
taking position after killing her two minor children over a family feud at
Sharafbhata village under Rangunia upazila here early Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Daisy Akhter alias Dolly, 29, wife of Nur
Nabi, a grocery shop owner at Shikderpara of Srafbhata village, their two
minor daughters Iva Akhter, 6 years and Israt Nur, 10 months.
Imtaij Uddin Bhuiyan, officer in charge of Rangunia thana said Daisy took
poison over family feud after poisoning her two kids to death around 1 am
early today,
Sensing the matter, locals took them to Rangunia health complex. The
doctors referred them to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) as their
condition deteriorated. The attending doctors of CMCH declared them dead
after admission at 2.20 am.
Police is investigating the matter, Imtaij Uddin Bhuiyan, OC of Rangunia
thana said.
