Tajikistan face Laos in crucial must win match tomorrow
DHAKA, April 26, 2019 (BSS)- The Tajikistan U-19 women’s football team
take on their Laos counterpart in their crucial second and final group A
match of the Bangamata U-19 Women’s International Gold Cup Football
tournament scheduled to be held tomorrow (Saturday) at Bangabandhu National
Stadium.
The match kicks off at 8.30 pm.
Laos are already in comfortable position in the race of semifinal battle
after a crushing 5-0 goal crushing victory over Mongolia in their group
opening match. They only need a draw against Tajikistan to decide the last
four spot of the tournament.
On the other hand, It will be ha must win match for Tajikistan after
their 0-3 goal defeat to Mongolia in their group opening match. Tajikistan
must have to win against Laos with a better goal difference to keep their
hope alive to stay in the semifinal.
Meanwhile in the group B, both Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan have confirmed
their last four spot after another group B team United Arab Emirates (UAE)
made exit from the tournament race after losing both their group matches.
