Tipu off to Belarus to join trade, economic commission meeting
DHAKA, April 22, 2019 (BSS) – Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi left here last night for Belarus to join the first meeting on trade and economic joint commission between Dhaka and Minsk.
The meeting will be held in Minsk, the capital of Belarus on April 23 and 24, said an official release here today, adding that during the visit, Tipu will also follow up bilateral issues that took place when Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visited in 2013.
Trade and economic sector between Bangladesh and Belarus gained momentum after the Prime Minister’s visit in Minsk, the release added.
The commerce minister is leading a 12-member delegation. Tipu MUnshi is expected to return home on April 25.
