Workshop on SDGs held in Joypurhat
JOYPURHAT, April 18, 2019 (BSS) – A day-long workshop on Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) was held in the district town today.
Md Nur-ur-Rahman, divisional commissioner, Rajshahi, inaugurated the
workshop as the chief guest at the district Circuit House auditorium this
morning.
Assistant Commissioner Abdul Hai Siddique presented the key note paper
on implementation agenda of SDGs while Deputy Commissioner of Joypurhat
Mohammad Jakir Hossain chaired the function.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Milton Chandra Rao, Deputy Director of Local Govt
Division Israt Farzana and Additional Commissioner Md Moniruzzaman spoke on
implementation agenda of the SDGs at the workshop.
Government and non-government officials, public representatives, business
men, students, teachers, indigenous leaders and local journalists took part
in the workshop.
