Bashundhara blank Ctg. Abahani 3-0 in BPL
DHAKA, April 18, 2019 (BSS)- Table topper Bashundhara Kings blanked Chittagong Abahani Limited by 3-0 goals in a thirteenth round match of the Bangladesh Premier League Football (BPL) that resumed today ( Thursday) at Sheikh Kamal Stadium in Nilphamari.
In the day’s match, Bakhtiar opened an account for Bashundhara in the 45+2nd minute while foreign recruit Collindres scored the second goal for Bashundhara in the 78th minute of the match.
Marcose completed the winners tally scoring the third goal in the 84th minute.
With the day’s win, Bashundhara has secured 34 points from 12 matches while the port city team Chittagong Abahani Limited remained at their previous credit of 14 points from the same number of outings.
In the day’s other league match, NoFeL Sporting Club forced Sheikh Jamla Dhanmondi Club toshare points with a goalless draw held at Shaheed Bhulu Stadium in Nilphamari.
With this outcome, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club bagged 14 points from 12 matches while NoFeL Sporting Club secured nine points also from 12 outings.
