1,320 houses get electricity in Panchagarh
PANCHAGARH, March 29, 2019 (BSS)- A total of 1,320 houses of 19 villages
under Chilahati and Boroshoshi unions in Boda upazila of the district were
brought under newly electricity supply network today.
Railway Minister Advocate Nurul Islam Sujon inaugurated the power
connection line as the chief guest.
In this regards, a discussion was held on the premises of Bagduljula Girls
High School.
Thakurgoan Palli Bidyut Samity (PBS) organised the discussion with
Boroshoshi union Awami League President Afaz Uddin in the chair.
The Railway Minister addressed the meeting as the chief guest while Boda
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Sayed Mahamud Hasan and Ganeral Manager of
Palli Bidyut Abu Asraf Md Saleho were present as special guests.
Thakurgaon Palli Bidyut Samity of Rural Electrification Board (REB) has
implemented the construction works about 37.967 kilomiters long power supply
lines at a cost of Taka 5.70 corer.
