BNP will face extinction like Jamaat: Hanif
DHAKA, March 23, 2019 (BSS) – Acting General Secretary of Awami League (AL) Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif today said BNP would face extinction like Jamaat as the party is doing ill politics.
“They (BNP) have no future in the political landscape of the country…. BNP leaders are resorting to falsehood through media for misguiding the people of the country,” he told a discussion in front of Awami League central office in city’s Bangabandhu Avenue.
Awami Sechasebok League organized the discussion on the occasion of Independence Day.
AL Organizing Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim and leaders of Awami League, among others, addressed the discussion with President of Awami Sechasebok League Advocate Mollah Md Abu kausar in the chair. General Secretary of Awami Sechasebok League Pangkaz Devnath conducted the discussion.
Hanif said, “Awami League believes in democracy and freedom of speech…..that is why BNP is resorting to falsehood for destabilizing stable political situation in the country.”
He urged leaders and activists of Awami League to resist conspiracy of BNP for continuing development process in the country.
