‘Visit India’ stall at Ctg trade fair to promote intending visitors

CHATTOGRAM, March 23, 2019 (BSS) – Assistant High Commission of India in
Chattogram has launched a stall titled ‘Visit India’ at a Trade Fair arranged
by Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Pologround, where intending
visitors of India from Bangladesh can easily get all information for their
visits.

Assistant High Commissioner of India Anindya Banerjee inaugurated the
stall. Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mahbubul Alam
attended the ceremony as the special guest.

Anindya Banerjee said a huge number of Bangladeshis visit India every year
as a result the visa process for Bangladeshi nationals has been made easier.

Three visa centres were opened in Cumilla, Noakhali and Brahmanbaria in
Chattogram division to facilitate people in remote areas to get visa easily,
he added.

The assistant high commissioner said India will always stay beside
Bangladesh in every development activities of Bangladesh.

He said Indo-Bangla relations is now very strong than previous time and
Indian wants to further strengthen the bilateral ties.

Subhasis Sinha, second secretary to Assistant Indian High Commission,
Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vice-President Syed Jamal Ahmed,
Directors Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Anjan Shekor Das and Jahurul Islam
Chowdhury, former director Mahfuzul Haque Shah and general secretary Engineer
Md Faruque were present on the occasion.
