Textile exporters to get up to 12pc cash incentive
DHAKA, March 21, 2019 (BSS) – Exporters of the textile sector can get up to 12 percent cash incentives instead of earlier 10 percent.
According to a Bangladesh Bank (BB) circular, “In case of multiple benefits for the textile exporters cash incentives will be applicable to each benefit at the fixed rate.”
Out of the four cash incentives, Deputy Director of the BB Foreign Exchange Policy Department M Arafat Ali said, an exporter of the textile sector can get up to three types of cash incentives.
Earlier, he said, an exporter used to get up to 10 percent cash incentives from the three benefits. But, now they can get 12 percent cash incentives, he added.
