Ariful Haque was instrumental in helping the side attain two full points with his fabulous all-round performance. Firstly in bowling he snared 4-24 to cause havoc on Khelaghar batting line up as they were eventually bowled out for 195 in 46.5 overs.

Later his unbeaten 32 helped the side knock off the target in 47 overs in a nail-biting finish to the game.

Amit Majumder was the highest scorer for Khelaghar with 36 while their Indian recruit Ashok Maneria scored 35.

With his medium pace, Ariful dismantled the Khelghar top-order before leg-spinner Alok Kapali who finished with 3-20 took care of the middle order. In pursuit of 196, Prime Bank got off to a solid start as skipper Anamul Haque and Rubel Mia shared a 63-run partnership for the opening stand. Robiul Haque broke through with the wicket of Anamul (37) while Mosaddek Iftekhar dismissed Rubel Mia after he scored the team’s highest 46.
