DHAKA, March 6, 2019 (BSS) – Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today said a permanent structure will be built for the Administrative Tribunal soon.

“Administrative Tribunal and Administrative Appellate Tribunal are institutions established by the country’s constitution but they have had no permanent structure for long in this country. They should have permanent structures. So that we can see them as functional,” he said.

Anisul Huq said this while speaking at the annual feast of Administrative Tribunal Lawyers’ Association held on the premises of Directorate of Registration at Abdul Gani Road, a press release said.

Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain attended the function as chief guest, while lawyers’ association president Advocate Abdur Rahim presided over the function.

Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah and Administrative Tribunal Chairman Justice AKM Fazlur Rahman addressed the function, among others.

“I learned that this tribunal (Administrative Tribunal) is situated at a temporary shed for long 35 years. I think we waited long enough…not anymore. We will build a permanent structure for it, soon” the law minister said, emphatically.
