France to stand by Bangladesh over Rohingya issue
DHAKA, Feb 27, 2019 (BSS) – France today expressed its firm conviction to
stand beside Bangladesh over the Rohingya issue.
The pledge came when a four-member French parliamentary delegation met
Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the JS Bhaban
here, said an official release.
President of the France-South East Asia inter-parliamentary friendship
group and Senator Jacky Deromedi led the delegation.
They also discussed about Bangladesh’s socioeconomic development, trade and
business of both the countries, economy, Bangladesh’s successes in disaster
management and ways of resolving Rohingya crisis.
