President reaches Singapore for health checkup

DHAKA, Feb 22, 2018 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid today reached
Singapore for his health checkup.

“A regular aircraft of Singapore Airlines flight no-SQ447 carrying the
President landed at Changi International Airport in Singapore at about 6:00
am local time,” President’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad told BSS
this afternoon.

On his arrival at the airport, the President was received by Bangladesh
High Commissioner to Singapore Mustafizur Rahman.

Earlier, the President along with his spouse Rashida Khanam and officials
concerned left here for Singapore at about 11:55 pm yesterday.

During his six-day visit, his medical check-up will be conducted at
Mount Elizabeth Hospital and Singapore National Eye Hospital.

The President is expected to return home on February 27.
