Tipu for enriching skills for delivering land-related services

RANGPUR, Feb 24, 2019 (BSS) – Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, MP, today urged the officials and employees concerned to enrich their skills for delivering land-related services to people’s doorsteps in a hassle-free manner.

“There is no alternative to becoming skilled to face land affairs complexities for reaching related services to people for building the Sonar Bangla of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Digital Bangladesh of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he said.

The Minister was addressing inaugural function of a four-day “e-Namzari management related users’ training course” organised by the Ministry of Land at conference room of the Deputy Commissioner here as the chief guest.

The land-service provider officials and employees from all eight upazilas of the district are participating in the four-day training course.

Tipu Munshi said all sorts of corruptions and red-tape complexities would be eliminated if delivery of the land-related services could be ensured adopting the digitised e-management system.

“So why, the land service related officials and employees should have to learn and understand digital issues for becoming more proficient to provide people with land-related services easily using digital technologies,” he said.

He called upon the officials and employees involved in providing land-related services at the upazila levels to people for delivering the services efficiently ensuring honesty.

“The present government is totally strict against corruption with zero tolerance. So, there is no concession if anyone commits corruption in the process of proving land-related services to people,” Tipu added.

With Deputy Commissioner Enamul Habib in the chair, Additional Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Abu Taher Md Masud Rana and President of district Awami League Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed addressed the ceremony as special guests.

Deputy Secretary to the Ministry of Land Arzoo Ara Begum delivered welcome speech.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Sharif Md Foyzul Kabir, Joint General Secretary of district AL Professor Mazed Ali Babul and its Office Secretary Tauhidur Rahman Tutul also spoke.
