Hong Kong shares drop at open
HONG KONG, Feb 8, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks tumbled in the opening
minutes Friday on fading optimism about US-China trade talks and Europe’s
economic outlook, following the three-day Lunar New Year break.
The Hang Seng Index fell 1.41 percent, or 393.60 points, to 27,596.61.
Shanghai remains closed for the week.
