DHAKA, Jan 29, 2018 (BSS) – With a view to establishing supportive collaboration between Dhaka University (DU) and Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (GIGCAS) a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today.
DU Treasurer Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin and GIGCAS Director Dr Gan Zhang signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides, said a press release here.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Akhtaruzzaman, Science Faculty Dean Professor Dr Md Abdul Aziz and Chemistry Department Chairman Prof Dr Md Azizur Rahman, among others, were present in the meeting held at VC lounge, added the release.
Under the MoU, teachers, researchers, students and publications and documents on education and research would be exchanged between the two institutions.
