Achhia champion at DU Moitri Hall sports competition
DHAKA, Feb 1, 2019 (BSS) – The 28th annual sports competition of Dhaka University’s female dormitory ‘Bangladesh-Kuwait Moitri Hall’ was held today at the central playground on the campus.
Achhia Akter, a residential student of the dormitory, became champion in the competition while her fellows Joynab Akter and Lipi Akter jointly won the runner-up prize.
Earlier, Vice Chancellor Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the competition in the morning as the chief guest.
Treasurer Professor Md Kamal Uddin distributed prizes among the winners after the competition.
Acting hall provost Prof Shabnam Jahan, advisor and director of Physical Education Centre Prof M Ziaul Hoque Mamun, president of DU Athletics Committee Prof Md Nizamul Hoque Bhuiyan were present, among others.
