Syed Ashraf’s moral values should be instilled into youths: Farhad


DHAKA, Jan 29, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Public Administration Farhad
Hossain today said the human and political values of Syed Ashraful Islam
should be instilled into new generation so that they could be grown up as
worthy citizens.

“Syed Ashraful Islam was a thoughtful personality. He could give solutions
to tough problems easily,” he said while addressing a memorial meeting on the
late AL leader at Jatiya Press Club in the capital.

Kishoreganj Journalists’ Forum organised the meeting with Prime Minister’s
Media Affairs Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury in the chair.

Former Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Prof
Dr Kamrul Hasan, among others, spoke at the meeting, said a handout.

Farhad said Syed Ashraf played a vital role in taking the country ahead by
overcoming different national and international conspiracies.

On January 3, Syed Ashraf, former general secretary of the Awami League and
former Public Administration Minister, died at a hospital in Bangkok at the
age of 68.
