DHAKA, Jan 22, 2019 (BSS) – Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen today stressed
the need for further strengthening cooperation with the United Arab Emirates
(UAE) in the areas of human resources, trade and investment, civil aviation
and defence.
Cooperation with the UAE should further be strengthened, the foreign
minister said when UAE Ambassador in Dhaka Saed Mohammed Saed Hmaid Almheiri
met him at his ministry office here, an official release said.
Ambassador Almheiri conveyed greetings and best wishes of the Foreign
Minister of the UAE to Dr Momen.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on regional and international
issues of mutual interest as well as cooperation in different multilateral
platforms.
The Foreign Minister expressed happiness over a recent engagement signed by
Bangladesh and the UAE.
He assured the UAE envoy of providing all-out cooperation and support in
bilateral and international arenas from Bangladesh side.
