One killed, 15 injured in Narail road accident
NARAIL, Jan 18, 2019 (BSS) – The driver of a passenger bus was killed and
15 others injured as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch in Chachra area of
the district here today.
The driver was identified as Golam Mostofa, 50, resident of Vatiapara
village under Kashiana Thana in Gopalganj district.
Local people said the accident took place at around 1:30 pm on Narail-
Jashore Road. The bus plunged into a roadside ditch as the driver lost his
control over the steering. Driver Mostofa died on the spot. The injured were
taken to Narail Sadar hospital.
Officer-in-Charge of Narail Sadar Thana Md Elias Hossain confirmed the
incident.
A case was filed in this connection.
