Imran for taking measures to solve problems of Bangladeshi expatriates
SYLHET, Jan 14, 2019 (BSS) -The State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare &
Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed today said necessary steps will be taken soon
to solve the problems of Bangladeshi expatriates considering their important
role in the country’s economy.
“The expatriates are playing significant role in running the wheels of our
economy. We are trying to fix their every problems . . . appropriate measures
will be taken to this end,” he said while talking to journalists here after
visiting the Shrine of Hazrat Shah Jalal (RA).
The state minister also said he has a plan to visit the Middle East soon
to take a look at the issues regarding the torture of women workers there.
