DHAKA, Dec 31, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League candidate Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal was elected unofficially by a huge margin from Dhaka-12 constituency in the 11th parliamentary election held on Sunday.
Returning Officer and Divisional Commissioner KM Ali Azam announced the unofficial results in all the 140 polling centres of the constituency on Sunday night.
Kamal secured 1,91,895 votes with “boat” symbol while his nearest rival BNP candidate Saiful Alam Nirob got 32678 votes with “sheaf of paddy” symbol.
