Reject BNP-Jamaat by casting vote for boat: Joy
DHAKA, Dec 27, 2018 (BSS) – Prime Minister’s ICT Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy today termed BNP-Jamaat as “terrorists and war criminals”, urging the countrymen to reject them by casting votes for ‘boat’.
“BNP-Jamaat are nothing but terrorists and war criminals. This election day, reject them by casting your vote for boat, the Awami League’s electoral symbol,” Joy wrote on his Facebook page.
Quoting media reports, he said five Awami League (AL) activists were killed and 441 injured, while 170 AL offices, houses and vehicles were vandalised by the BNP-Jamaat terrorists from December 1 to December 26.
“During the time, 68 AL offices and vehicles were torched, while the BNP-Jamaat cadres attacked police at four places,” the PM’s ICT adviser wrote.
On December 26 alone, he said, 40 AL activists were injured and 10 offices vandalised in 22 constituencies under 17 districts.
“Besides, 10 incidents of bomb attacks and gunshots were made and seven offices and vehicles were burnt by BNP-Jamaat cadres on the day,” Joy wrote.
