3 die in landslide in Ctg
CHITTAGONG, Dec 30, 2017 (BSS)-At least three labourers including an infant were killed in a landslide while cutting hill at south Razanagar area under Rangunia upazila of the district this afternoon.
The victims were identified as Mohammad Shakib,10, Amir Ali, 37 and Mohammad Didar,38, hailed from Mohammapur village under Razanagar union of the upazila.
Locals said the incident occurred when a big chunk of a hill, has fallen on the labourers around 3 pm during cutting hills at the said area. Locals dug up the earth and recovered the bodies.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kamal Hossain confirmed the incident but could not provide the details as he was on way to place of occurrence.
