IU VC meets Saudi Ambassador
ISALMIC UNIVERSITY, Nov 27, 2018 (BSS) – Vice-Chancellor of Islamic
University (IU) in Kushtia Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari met Saudi
Ambassador in Dhaka Abdullah HM Al Mutairi at the embassy here today.
During the meeting, they discussed setting up an Arabic Language Institute
at Islamic University and stressed the need for signing a memorandum of
understanding (MoU) for taking collaborative academic programmes between the
Islamic University and the Universities of Saudi Arabia.
Dr Mohammad Nasir Unddin, an assistant professor of Al-Fiqh and Legal
Studies, and Rezaul Karim Reza, personal secretary to the VC, were present.
